Lessons in the Science & Engineering Lab help students connect the work of scientists and mathematicians to the work of engineers they do each day in the classroom.
In kindergarten through second grade, lab lessons focus on building proficiency in working with tools and measuring with precision:
-Observations and record keeping (Science Notebooks)
-Magnification (Microscopes and hand lenses)
-Length (rulers, meter sticks, measuring tape)
-Volume (graduated cylinders)
