St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman pays tribute to all St. Petersburg area public schools and gives special recognition to the 10 schools that achieved an “A” grade.  This recognition is part of the St. Pete’s Promise Program, which is a partnership among the City of St.Petersburg, the Pinellas Education Foundation and Pinellas County Schools. This award replaced the Top Apple Award from the previous mayor of St. Petersburg.

City of St. Petersburg "Mayor's Top Apple Award"

 

Jamerson Elementary has been awarded National PTA School of Excellence Certification for Parent Involvement.  This shows that we meet or exceed the 6 standards set by National PTA for Parent/Family Involvement Programs.  The six areas judged are:  Student Learning, Communicating, Parenting, Volunteering, School Decision Making and Advocacy, and Collaborating with the Community.  For more information please go to www.pta.org .  Thank you to all of the dedicated parents who make this a great school.
